A Lion Air Boeing 737-900ER with registration PK-LGP skidded the runway at Raden International Airport in Lampung on Sunday during heavy rain.
The aircraft was operating Lion Air flight JT-173 from Hang Nadim International Airport to Lampung with 7 crew members and 125 adult passengers, one child, two toddlers on board.
The fuselage left the runway after the plane was at low speed during the process of turning towards the parking lot (apron) having landed at 14:45 WIB.
The pictures do look like it simply landed runway 32 and left the runway. However, the data showed it landed 14, made 180 turn at 9kts, and then somehow left runway. #JT173 #PKLGP #lionair pic.twitter.com/SVMkn8gLt3
